What the Skwirrel II can do
	Hey look: I have a new electric wheelchair, a Skwirrel II. It's brilliant, cause I made it up myself. With my Skwirrel II, I can reach everywhere. I can go up and get something from the table or get my favourite drink from the machine. I can go down and play with my friends on the floor. Or to pick something up that dropped. I can fold the worktop away completely, when I don't need it. This is really useful when I want to be close to something. Or when I want to play on the floor. My Skwirrel II is really fast. I have the fastest wheelchair of all of us. When we go out and race, I always win. My parents and my teachers are sometimes afraid that I am going too fast. There is no need to be afraid, the Skwirrel II is very safe. It will never swerve and I can stop really fast too, if I have to. I can ride up to 40 km with the batteries. That is really far! And when they are empty, I can charge them overnight. So I can immediately start riding again the next day. I love crossing around in the woods. Full speed across the paths and over the bumps. My Skwirrel II has really cool springs, so I hardly feel a thing. I can even ride up a steep slope to get a great view of the woods. In the dark, I turn on the lights. That way, I can see where I am riding. And others can see me, too. This always gets me home safe. When I am home, I am happy that the Skwirrel II is small and can make really short turns. I can make any turn I want. This will get me into my computer corner easily. Here, I can operate the computer with the joystick from the wheelchair. And if I want to rest a bit after that, I tilt back my chair. Glass of juice, a few nuts a field day! I am still growing. I will need a new seat on my Skwirrel II when I'm bigger, of course. I think I will choose another colour then. I like red, or perhaps yellow. We'll have to have new covers as well then. I will design these myself, on this site. I can't wait! I'm really looking forward to it!
