Possibilities of the Skwirrel II
The Skwirrel II is a compact and stable electric wheelchair that has been designed especially for children. The dimensions have been adjusted to the size of the child. The possibilities have also been geared to what children want.

With its large driven front wheels, turning in narrow spaces and getting across obstacles are a piece of cake for the Skwirrel II. At higher speeds, the Skwirrel II is very steady due to a unique and patented sabilizing system. The large battery capacity allows a full day of intensive use. The wheelchair has a range of up to 40 km before the batteries need to be charged again.

Naturally and like its predecessor, the Skwirrel II enables its rider to be active with his/her environment both at floor level and at greater heights. A reliable, low-noise and almost invisible high-low system ensures careless discovery by the child.

The Skwirrel II uses the highly individually adjustable Colibri seating pan as its seating system (see www.huka.nl) which is available in three sizes and many colours. An extensive package of accessories with fixtures, abduction block and head supports provides perfect seating support. Other (individual) seating systems can be applied as well, of course, such as the well-known Huka MA seat or individual ortheses.

The P&G control is standard. In specific cases a different control variation can also be used.

Particularly because children are very susceptible to the way things look, and because they want to belong, we promote personal design of the Skwirrel II wheelchair by the user himself or herself. Everyone can choose the colours and images that s/he likes best. Thus, it will really become your own wheelchair, one of which you can be proud. Elsewhere on this site you can try out for yourself how easy the designing is. The future users will receive a special login code from us, once the wheelchair measurements have been taken by the dealer. This code will give them access to a special secured part of the site where they can choose colours and images. The actual ordering of a wheelchair requires the assistance of one of the parents. And when preferences change or when there is a new trend no problem. The covers are offered against prices that fit the wallet for e.g. under the Christmas tree.
