The philosophy is supported by statements made by various specialists. They are quoted below.

Erik Homburger Erikson (psychologist): 'Mobility is a major stage of development. The key element during this stage is the independent movement. From this independency the child learns to take initiatives and create things'.

Bertha Bobath (physical therapist) and Karel Bobath (neurologist): 'A child starts moving and crawling on all fours at the age of 10 months and then sits and stands when it is one year old. As of the age of 1 children can stand. At one-and-a-half they start walking'

Piaget (psychologist) & Bowlby (psychiatrist): 'As of the age of 3.5, a child starts to play (interactively) with children from its own age group. Quite soon, it will start to compare and emphasize differences (own identity) or imitate'.

J. Kagan: 'Mastery is a sense as well as it is: getting the hang of certain skills and enjoying this. All these elements combined give the child a feeling of competency and wanting to grow big. This is the basis for self-confidence.'
